We're Hiring Catering Assistants – Join Our Care Home Team!
Location: Esker Lodge Nursing Home
Hours: Part-time hours 20 -24 hours per week
Pay: €13,50 per hour
We’re looking for a Catering Assistant to join our warm and welcoming team here at Esker Lodge Nursing Home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving meals and drinks to residents in the dining room and in their rooms
- Setting up tables and clearing away after meals
- Washing up and keeping the kitchen/dining areas clean and tidy
- Helping maintain high hygiene and safety standards
- Help with the storage and rotation of food supplies
- Support the Head Chef and kitchen team with daily tasks
- Making sure residents feel comfortable, respected, and well looked-after
What we’re looking for:
- A helpful, reliable, and positive attitude
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful – especially towards older people
- A team player who’s happy to roll up their sleeves
- No experience needed – full training provided!
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
