We are currently recruiting for a part time catering assistant in Loreto Secondary School, Fermoy. Co. Cork.
This position will commence the end of August and operates around the Secondary school calendar.
Our employees are welcomed as part of the school community. Our employees are off at the break periods: midterms, Christmas, Easter and summer (unpaid). This may appeal to people with school going children. We do not offer set working days, flexibility in working days is essential. This position may not be suitable to people in part time education. The position is also subject to Garda Vetting.
The position of part time Catering Assistant is approx 9 -11 hours per week, operating on a 2 day/3 day rotation.
Shift time approx 9.00am/9.15am -2.00pm. Half day Wednesday approx 11.45am finish.
The roles involve the preparation of a variety of rolls, wraps, ciabattas, pasta & rice dishes. Service of small break, lunch and clean down. It is a very fast paced and busy working environment.
Previous catering experience, knowledge of HACCP, ability to start at 8.15am is an advantage.
