About the Role
We are seeking a warm, caring, and reliable nanny to look after our 18-month-old child in our home. The role is full-time during weekdays, providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will be energetic, trustworthy, and passionate about supporting early childhood development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care to our 18-month-old throughout the day.
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that support learning and development (reading, play, music, outdoor walks).
- Prepare simple meals and snacks for the child.
- Assist with maintaining daily routines, including naps and playtime.
- Safely transport the child to activities, appointments, or outings (a full driving license and own car are required).
- Light household duties related to the child (tidying play areas, washing bottles/dishes, laundry for the child).
- Communicate daily with parents regarding routines, milestones, and any concerns.
Requirements
- Previous experience caring for infants/toddlers (professional or personal).
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable car.
- Strong references from previous childcare roles.
- Flexibility with working hours when needed.
- Garda Vetting
- A patient, nurturing, and responsible personality.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: €28,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
