Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Being a strong advocate and champion of company mission, vision and values
- Lead and direct the day to day activity of the national Quality team managing a team of four. Overseeing team activities and responsibilities, driving performance across the Quality team
- Communicating effectively with all team members through 1 to 1 meetings
- Ensuring that all team members have a clear understanding of their individual objectives and required skills and behaviors and how they contribute to the achievement of business objectives
- Developing the team, ensuring that all are fully and suitably trained, encouraged and supported
- Escalation of issues or challenges to the Operations Manager as necessary
- Quality project lead maximising and directing the teams resources in order to fulfil the Quality team objectives.
- Supporting Java Republic’s customer base in Dublin and South Leinster by delivering training/ education/ knowledge in order to enable them to implement and apply JR standards in delivering coffee and tea to the highest standard
- Working in collaboration with the Sales team in showcasing Java Republic coffee and tea products on client visits/ tastings at Java Republic or customer locations
- Carrying out customer audits in Dublin and South Leinster area – supporting our customer base to ensure that they deliver Java Republic coffee and tea to the highest standards
- Applying skills and initiative to contribute to continuous improvement of product, systems, processes, procedures and standards
- Being aware and open to industry & market trends, customer feedback (and where appropriate, seeking feedback) and competitor analysis and communicating to relevant Java Republic colleagues
- Ensure effective use of all resources inclusive of working with other departments in order to offer the best solutions to our customers
- Other duties as assigned.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Leadership and supervisory skills
- Practical experience gained in the Specialty Coffee industry (ideally in a training role).
- Coffee training experience.
- Enjoy all aspects of working with food and drink – Especially an appreciation of great coffee.
- A comfortable level of proficiency using Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- A good standard of written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to plan and organize working week in line with designated journey planner, respond to emails and arrange outlook calendar appropriately
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, follow up on customer requests, work/plan autonomously with support of Operations Manager.
- Structured, patient and thorough approach to trainees.

Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
