This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a key commercial business unit at Dublin Airport, as Commercial Concessions Relationship Manager. The Commercial Concessions portfolio includes over 20 concessions contracts across core products including car rental, bussing, currency exchange and other Dublin Airport Campus Concessions.
The Commercial Concessions Relationship Manager is a key role within the daa Commercial Department reporting into the Senior Commercial Concessions Manager. This role is integral to the performance of the commercial team managing a significant annual revenue portfolio.
The key purpose of this role is to manage key concessions contracts across the commercial concession’s portfolio, build and maintain sustainable and meaningful working relationships with our concessionaires, fostering a high performance culture to ensure concessions products operate efficiently, enhance passenger experience and grow income from our commercial concessions products. The successful candidate will support the Senior Commercial Concessions Manager to develop and deliver a new concessions strategy ensuring the business is set-up for future success.
The successful candidate will have a results oriented mindset, an excellent ability to develop and maintain sustainable partnerships coupled with excellent organisational abilities and demonstrated project management skills to effectively manage the operation of key concessions contracts at Dublin Airport.

- Support the delivery of a multi-year strategy for Commercial Concessions ensuring the team delivers budget, growth, and key project milestones.
- Develop, influence and maintain business relationship with key concessionaires, acting as their day-to-day point of contact.
- Ensure effective contract management and engagement structures and process are in place to enable the efficient operation and performance of concessions contracts at Dublin Airport.
- Manage the relationships with third parties and key internal stakeholders involved in the operation of commercial concessions contracts at Dublin Airport, be the voice of our concessionaires advocating for them and working with internal teams to resolve issues.
- Support the delivery of annual commercial concessions revenue targets.
- Support future growth by identifying and assessing potential new revenue streams in response to changing passenger demands and new opportunities.
- Complete relevant industry benchmarking exercises to assess performance and identify opportunities.
- Support largescale, competitive tender processes for contract renewals and new opportunities designing optimal packages for the market to deliver optimal value for Dublin Airport (From pre-tender engagement to contract negotiation).
- Lead key workstreams to ensure the delivery of daa Capital Infrastructure projects and improvement projects relating to concessions – liaising with internal teams to meet key project milestones.
- Partner with key internal stakeholders (Procurement, Infrastructure, Legal, Finance etc) to support the needs of the business and where appropriate challenge the status quo to achieve commercial objectives.
- Present as required on the financial performance, product performance, strategy implementation and future plans for commercial concession.
- Represent Commercial Concessions in future strategy planning with the wider daa group, ensuring appropriate space and facilities to grow concessions products.
- Ensure alignment with the daa strategy.
- Champion the future of the business with a tireless ambition to deliver a great passenger experience and increased revenues for Dublin Airport.
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience in a relevant field is essential.
- Extensive knowledge of a similar scale concession business is highly desirable but not essential.
