We are currently seeking a Construction Engineer to join our team in Limerick.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and work from construction drawings and site plans
Carry out precise setting out of roads, drainage, foundations, RC structures, and utilities
Perform site surveying, levelling, and dimensional control using total stations, GPS, and other equipment
Maintain accurate records, including as-built surveys, technical reports, and site diaries
Communicate effectively with site managers, subcontractors, and the wider construction team to ensure work is aligned with plans
Assist in preparing method statements, risk assessments, and quality documentation
Support site management in monitoring progress and maintaining health and safety standards
Ensure all works are executed in line with design specifications and tolerances
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a setting out role on civil or building projects
Proficient in using modern surveying instruments (e.g. Leica/Trimble total stations, GPS equipment)
Good knowledge of AutoCAD and digital survey tools
Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Full driving license and valid Safe Pass required
