Responsibilities
- Responsible for operating equipment, such as pumps, valves, and cleaning systems, to clean various parts of a production line.
- Operate, monitor, and control equipment used in the manufacturing process.
- Monitor process parameters, including temperature, pressure, flow rates, and levels, to maintain optimal operating conditions. Identify and troubleshoot process deviations or abnormalities and take appropriate corrective actions in consultation with Production and Engineering personnel.
- Addressing issues that arise during cleaning cycles and ensuring proper functioning of the CIP system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records as required.
- Examine and inspect tanks and machines.
- Assist with other duties in the plant when required
Skills and Competencies
- Good computer literacy: experience with SAP or SCADA systems a distinct advantage.
- Pasteurisation and CIP experience desirable.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Energetic with a positive work attitude.
- Ability to work on your own and in a team environment.
Work Schedule
- Evening Shift - 2.00pm to 11.00pm but flexibility required
