Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Horticulturist or Landscape Gardener to oversee and plan all aspects of the gardens and grounds at two private properties located in Co. Meath. A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience is required.
This is a varied, hands-on role that involves working on a diverse range of exciting landscape and maintenance projects across both properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily and year-round upkeep of gardens and grounds
- Plan and implement landscaping improvements to reduce maintenance needs
- Assign and oversee tasks in coordination with property owners and team members
- Perform planting, mulching, edging, spraying, strimming, and general property maintenance
- Maintain lawns to a high standard
- Grow and maintain vegetables and perennials
- Operate and maintain a range of garden machinery
- Adhere to health and safety standards, including safe operation practices
Skills and Requirements:
- Strong horticultural and landscape gardening knowledge
- Ability to operate and maintain machinery
- Motivated, hands-on individual capable of working independently and leading a team
- Manual Handling and Safe Pass certification required
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in garden and grounds work
Salary:
