Hours of work: Full Time - 35hrs per week. Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.

Job Description:
Successful candidates will be the calm, confident voice on the line along with handling admin with efficiency and precision. You'll be trained to assist clients / customers who have been involved in a road traffic accident or motor breakdown emergency as well as interacting with insurance brokers, recovery agents and supporting clients. Other administrative duties pertaining to MIS underwriting will be part of the role.
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting customers / clients who have been involved in a road traffic accident or whose vehicle has broken down
- Assisting with Breakdown Recovery, Motor / Household first notification of claims calls
- Proofing of any policy/product documentation.
- Resolving problems to our customers / client’s satisfaction within agreed timelines effectively and efficiently.
- Developing and maintaining full knowledge of products and services.
- Capturing and maintaining customer details with high accuracy.
- Being on call/ready to take and assist external business development staff with phone calls relating to policy wording, policy documentation, IT Issues, and the referral of specific queries to underwriters.
- Being the internal point of contact for brokers/dealers/external business development staff for the ordering of required stationary and recording each broker/dealers file notes of the stationary requested and sent.
- Validating, packaging, and sending all stationary that is sent via post/DX/courier to brokers/dealers.
- Being an internal point of contact for underwriting and cover queries from brokers and internal staff.
- Administration duties as required.
Full training is provided. We'll make sure you are confident and well equipped for success!
What you'll bring:
- A minimum education achievement of the Leaving Certificate
- A minimum of 1 year’s relevant office experience
- Be able to demonstrate competence in the use of a range of computer applications, for example MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Have excellent administrative and call handling skills.
- A Full ROI Drivers Licence (or working towards getting your driver’s licence, full drivers’ licence must be gained by the end of probation period).
- Candidates must be willing to commit to undertake further study to achieve their APA (Accredited Product Advisor) exams. These must be completed within 4 years of your start date.
Call centre experience and relevant experience in the claims / insurance industry are desirable, not essential as full training is provided.
