Providing a professional freight forwarding service to our customers; delivering solutions and executing customer orders in accordance with their requirements and / or procedures based on PSA BDP Ethics.
- To provide exceptional customer service by addressing enquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining relationships with clients
- Effectively manage Ocean Export LCL and FCL shipments from start to finish
- Punctual and flawless order handling and documentation
- Follow SOP's and update accordingly
- Submitting VGM through CNS & Destin8
- Prepare and complete full export documentation and sending pre alerts within set KPIs
- Submitting AMS / ACI / ISF for relevant shipments
- Sending EDI bookings and SI to carriers
- FCL and LCL Quotations upon request
- Manage multiple shipments simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
- Operational troubleshooting
- Non-conformance reporting in accordance with the KPI’s.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade compliance policies
- Meeting financial end of month deadlines both accruals and sales invoices
- +2 years of detailed experience of logistics and forwarding operations/regulations and documentation. To include customs procedures, the handling of dangerous goods and extensive knowledge of both LCL and FCL.
- Preferable a professional degree by a licensed educational institution.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Software applications and /or other market leading software applications.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm (37.5 hours a week)
