Lecturer in Cybersecurity – Computer Forensics (Part-time)
Due to our continued expansion at City Colleges, we are seeking applications from interested candidates to join our – City Colleges’ team for our upcoming Diploma in Cybersecurity programme, scheduled to commence this September. Applicants should possess a passion for their subject and an ability to instil and encourage the same in their students.
Teaching experience is a preference for this position which is available on a part time basis and will take place in-person at the College in Dublin 2.
Hours: 5hrs of in-person teaching x 1 day a week – Mid Week
Location: Dublin 2

- Overview of Computer System Forensics
- Digital Evidence
- Hardware Systems
- Forensic Analysis
- Network Forensics
Course Modules Learning Outcomes include:
1. Explain key information technology disaster recovery management functions, concepts and techniques and their role in organisational efficiency;
2. Discuss the evolution of information technology cybersecurity theory and its role in
the management of operations in modern business;
3. Apply information technology security management concepts, techniques to a
of Cybersecurity related contexts;
4. Assess the importance of the technical environment and how Cybersecurity issues
affect business.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
- Subject Matter / Industry Certified / Qualified
- Relevant and subject related industry experience
- Ability to Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Excellent Presentation, I.T. and Interpersonal skills
- Proactive approach to supporting and developing others with a demonstrate-able interest in learner employability, activation and progression
- Previous experience delivering training
