Whitefriars Childcare Ltd. is a family-run service providing high-quality care and education to children for over 14 years.
We are located in Dublin 8. 5 minutes walk away for the St. Stephen's Green Luas stop and close to St. Patrick's Cathedral. We are serviced by many buses including: 9, 15, 15a, 15b, 15c, 16, 27a, 54a. 65, 77, 77a 83, 122, 140 etc.
Successful candidates must:
- Have a relevant Childcare qualification minimum requirement a QQI level 6 in Childcare or equivalent childcare qualification.
- Have a genuine love of educating and caring for children.
- Help co-ordinate the day to day running of the room they will be based in.
- Work off their own initiative and as part of a team.
- Be able to construct a child-led emergent curriculum with their co-workers.
- Know how to facilitate play and support children's learning.
- Effectively record children's development.
- Be flexible regarding working hours.
- How a good knowledge of Aistear and Siolta.
- Have good written and spoken English.
Full-time contracts are offered on 38 hours or 40 hours working weeks.
40-hour contracts will be: three 8 am to 6 pm shifts, one 9am - 6am shift and one, half-day 8 am to 1 pm.
38-hour contracts will be: three 8 am to 6 pm shifts, one 8 am to 1 pm shift and one 12 pm to 6 pm shift.
All contracts are permanent contracts offered after the probation period of approximately three months.
