Role Overview:
We are seeking a caring, motivated Early Years Assistant to join our new center. Working under the guidance of a Lead Educator, you will help support a child-led, play-based curriculum while contributing to a nurturing space that supports the emotional, social, and physical development of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering daily routines and play experiences guided by the Aistear and Síolta frameworks
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where children feel secure and supported
- Support children’s emotional and social development through gentle, responsive interactions
- Contribute to observations and learning journals
- Work respectfully with families and support the team with parent communication
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in line with Tusla regulations
- Collaborate with other educators and contribute to a positive team culture
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education (or equivalent)
- At least 6 months to 1 year of experience working with young children in a professional setting
- A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children
- Basic knowledge of Aistear and Síolta (training and mentoring provided)
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to learn and grow

Pay: €15.00-€16.50 per hour
