We are inviting applicants for a position in our well established Montessori School in Raheny. These are term time positions and operate a 38 week calendar.
The start date will be the new term in September
- Essential Criteria
- satisfies employment criteria in relation to current relevant legislation including Garda Vetting
-Min 1 year in a childcare setting
-knowledge of Aistear and Childcare regulations
-Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
-Good written and oral communication skills
-Excellent spoken and written English
-Ability to relate to children, families and staff
-Willing to work with children of all abilities and needs
- 2 written references that will be validated
- Desirable criteria
- At least Fetac Level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent recognised by the DYCA
-knowledge of Montessori curriculum, preference will be given to those with experience of the Montessori Method
-First Aid, Children First, manual Handling and other certificates relevant to Early Childhood Care and Education
Full time hours: approx. 35 hours per week
