As we continue to grow and expand our client base, we are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to lead the delivery of commercial and industrial electrical projects based in Cork. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing site teams, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of electrical works from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Oversee the planning, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems across commercial and industrial sites
Manage on-site electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors to ensure high-quality, safe, and timely project delivery.
Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work scopes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, including Safe Electric standards and HSA guidelines.
Coordinate closely with project managers, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth site operations.
Monitor project progress, address issues or delays, and maintain detailed site records and documentation.
Carry out inspections, testing, and quality control throughout the construction phase.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Qualified Electrician with a National Craft Certificate or relevant third level qualification.Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory, foreman, or construction management role.
Strong technical background in electrical containment systems, 3-phase power, lighting, fire alarms, data cabling, and distribution systems.
Proven leadership and team management skills with a focus on safety and quality.
Experience working with RAMS, permit to work systems, and other safety documentation.
Electrical Testing & Verification qualification is a strong advantage.
IOSH Managing Safely or similar supervisory training is desirable.
