Opportunity Overview:
OWR is currently seeking experienced EPOS Technicians to join our team as contractors, event professionals, or freelancers, experience in Epos systems and client-facing roles. As part of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth operations during various events. This is a freelance position, and you will have the opportunity to work on exciting events and collaborate with diverse teams.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and configure Epos systems for events Café's or Restaurants, including hardware and software components.
- Provide on-site technical support during events, ensuring the proper functioning of Epos systems and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with clients and event organizers to understand their specific requirements and ensure the Epos setup meets their needs.
- Train event staff on how to use the Epos system and provide ongoing support during the event.
- Troubleshoot technical problems and quickly resolve them to minimize disruptions during events.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and ensure all equipment is properly handled and stored.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with Epos systems, preferably Square, preferably in a client-facing or event environment.
- Strong technical skills in setting up and configuring Epos hardware and software.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to quickly resolve technical issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, event staff, and team members.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure smooth event operations.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as a freelance technician.
- Valid Irish driving license and ability to travel to event locations.
Remuneration: € 175- €300 a day- Paid Training will be provided
