Celestica Ireland Limited requires an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Dublin. You will be responsible for the set-up, installation, maintenance and support of automated equipment ensuring optimum performance and the achievement of operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and implementing corrective actions to resolve equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation, including logs of repairs and services performed.
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to identify and implement equipment upgrades and modifications.
- Assisting the mechanical engineer with mechanical design and maintenance tasks.
- Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.
- Developing and implementing mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.
- Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs to maintain efficient operation of systems and equipment.
- Sets up equipment, undertakes tests, takes readings, performs calculations and records and interprets data.
- Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
- Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of mechanical machinery and equipment.
- Participating in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and stay updated with industry trends.
- Trains and assists other Technicians and Operators.
- Attends pass-downs as required and provides status updates.
- Provides detailed inputs into failed spare parts management process.

Pay: €34,403.25-€49,942.20 per year
