About The Role
Key responsibilities for a Supervisor
- Supervise a team of Cleaning Operatives, ensuring all policies and procedures are being adhered to on site
Oversee timekeeping and attendance and report any issue to manager
Deliver excellent cleaning standards with attention to detail and in accordance with instruction and training, whilst keeping health and safety a priority
Complete induction with new hires
Ensure correct materials, equipment and methods are used at all times and equipment is kept clean and in good working order
Report faulty machinery / equipment immediately to Manager
Ensure yellow safety signs are displayed at all times in areas where work is in progress, in line with Health & Safety
Ensure company uniform is kept clean, tidy and is worn at all times whilst at work. Relevant PPE must be worn at all times
Report all accidents and dangerous occurrences to Manager
Other duties as agreed and assigned by Management
Complete weekly Excel timesheet
Keep up to date Holiday and absence tracker
Complete daily audits through company tools (TASK)
Control the stock of consumables and materials
Attend meetings, trainings
Assist with monthly deliveries of consumables and materials
Assist arranging events, monthly wellbeing meetings
Conduct monthly wellbeing meeting with long term sick employees
- Deliver Toolbox talks and assisting with other trainings if required
- Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organisational and leadership skills
- Excellent knowledge of English language is a requirement
- Valid visa to work over 20 hours a week
- Visa Stamp 2 applications not accepted
