Event Stewards Needed for Wexford Fleadh Cheoil (August 3rd–5th)
About the Role:
We are seeking reliable and responsible Event Stewards to support the Wexford Fleadh Cheoil, the world’s largest celebration of Irish music. You’ll play a key role in helping the event run safely, smoothly, and professionally - from supporting crowd control to assisting on-site operations.
This is a 3-day freelance role with competitive pay, fast payments, and access to exclusive benefits via the Gigable platform.
Requirements:
- Must be available on August 3rd, 4th, and 5th (10:00 – 19:00 each day)
- Punctual, dependable, and able to stay alert on shift
- Based near or able to travel to Wexford
Location: Wexford Town Centre, Slipperygreen, Wexford, Y35 XC42
Responsibilities:
- Assist with event access control and crowd movement
- Ensure public safety guidelines are followed
- Remain calm and professional in high-traffic or fast-paced situations
- Be a visible, helpful presence to both attendees and staff
