The Role
As Events & Marketing Executive, you’ll play a key role in creating exciting experiences, developing content, and helping shape the voice and visibility of Rascals across multiple channels. From planning and executing events to managing social strategy and brewery tours, this is a multi-faceted role perfect for a creative all-rounder with a strong grasp of branding, communications, and hospitality.
Responsibilities
Events & Bookings
- Manage booking queries across email, social channels, and venue finder sites
- Build and trial new event formats and ideas regularly
- Attend in-house events for content capture and evaluation
- Research the wider Dublin event landscape
- Develop and maintain relationships with event management companies
Content Creation & Asset Management
- Take photography and video content at events and festivals
- Collaborate on editing and content production; develop visual storytelling
- Keep core brand assets fresh and organised in partnership with the marketing team
- Develop ‘client reels’ content in collaboration with the sales team
- Elevate Rascals content to go beyond brand: behind-the-scenes, food stories, etc.
Social Media
- Assist in ongoing review of all social channels: rank relevance and plan ahead
- Schedule, write, and curate engaging content
- Establish and refine content pillars
- Launch and manage giveaway strategies, including collaborations
- Explore new comms platforms (e.g. WhatsApp, YouTube) for future growth
Newsletter & Email Marketing
- Maintain and segment the Rascals subscriber database
- Assist with regular newsletter creation using best practices
- Plan ahead for seasonal content
- Improve open and click-through rates through better content and strategy
- Introduce an internal staff newsletter to improve internal comms
Brewery Tours & Visitor Experience
- Deliver brewery tours with energy and insight and evaluate them regularly
- Build and maintain links with tourism agencies and OTAs
- Liaise with the sales team to coordinate account visits and brewery introductions
- Develop relationships with local businesses and hotels to encourage tour referrals
What We're Looking For
- Creative thinker with strong initiative and attention to detail
- Confident communicator, both in person and online
- Interest in craft beer, events, and food & drink culture
- Proactive and able to juggle multiple projects across different departments
- Confidence with social media, email marketing, and digital tools a bonus
- Comfortable attending evening events and being part of a lively, team-driven workplace
- Experience in photography and videography would be an advantage

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: €30,000.00-€34,000.00 per year
