Due to continued expansion and growth, M50GSE Dublin Airport are looking for an enthusiastic, can-do Motor Mechanic to join their busy Service and Maintenance Team. M50GSE currently provide maintenance and repair services for the total up-keep of over 1,000 units for major Airline, Airport and Ground handling companies. Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform routine inspections and carry out services of different levels
- Carry out fault diagnosis, service, maintenance and repair on a varied fleet of HGVs, LGV's & Airport related machinery
- Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide updates on a daily basis
- Ensure good housekeeping by maintaining a clean and safe workplace
- Work with Van/Truck models such as Scania, Volvo, Mercedes, MAN, DAF, Ford and Citroen.
- To undertake any other duties or activities as required
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Be a fully qualified HGV/LGV Mechanic
- Hold a full Licence (Preferably C- but not essential)
- Be a people person with excellent interpersonal and people management skills
- Demonstrate strong organisational and planning skills
- Be friendly with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Be diligent, with a flexible and can do approach to work
- Work well under pressure
