Ready Chef are seeking an experienced Factory Supervisor to work within a busy department where you will be responsible for producing orders on time to our customers, and managing the staff within the factory on a day to day basis.
The responsibilities associated with this role are
- Prepare all customer orders for factory
- Effectively record and manage the performance of the factory team
- Using initiative to find alternative solutions to problems that are encountered
- Continuous improvement of the processes within the department
- Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and ensure staff do also.
- Oversee training for new operatives
- Manage the cleaning and ensure the factory is left in a tidy condition at the end of the production
- Compile reports at the request of the senior supervisor
- Develop and maintain a supportive and positive work environment
- Any ad hoc tasks that are required
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory experience
- Previous experience in a factory environment (preferably fresh produce)
- Forklift experience is preferred but not essential
The current shift time runs from 15:00 - 00:00. Currently the company operates 7 days a week and the working roster are typically 5 days over 7. Must be available to work weekends. Only applicants that holds a status to work fulltime will be considered for this role.
