About the Role
We are looking for a Field Services Technician to join our technical team. This is a client-facing, hands-on role ideal for someone with around two years of IT support experience who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. The role involves travel to customer sites, primarily in Dublin and surrounding areas, with occasional nationwide visits.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing onsite desktop, server, and network support to clients
2. Installing and configuring hardware, software, and network devices
3. Troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely, professional manner
4. Maintaining accurate documentation and updating support records
5. Acting as a technical liaison between clients and the service desk team
6. Participating in project rollouts and upgrades as required
What We’re Looking For
1. At least 2 years’ experience in an IT support or field service role
2. Strong customer service and communication skills
3. Solid understanding of desktop, server, and network environments
4. A proactive attitude and ability to work independently on client sites
5. A full, clean Irish driver’s licence (required)
6. Relevant IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are advantageous
