About your role:
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Join our dynamic Finance team and support our business functions with your exceptional skills. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring timely, accurate, and comprehensive management reporting. You will also coordinate and prepare the annual plan and reforecasts. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in an innovative organisation where you will be entrusted with significant responsibilities from day one.
Here's what you’ll be doing:
- Production of management reporting for local and Group purposes
- Budgeting, forecasting and building and maintaining financial models
- Pro-actively analyzing trends in the P&L to identify key areas of risk and opportunity
- Providing deep-dive analysis on areas of performance across the business; translating data into insights to support decision making
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to their implementation
- Building and maintaining relationships across the organization to ensure effective communication and collaboration on financial matters
- Involvement in ad-hoc projects and providing support and assistance to the business.
Here's what we’re looking for:
- Qualified accountant with 2+ years PQE
- Highly motivated individual with analytical and commercial mindset
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel
- Experience of transformational change, managing multiple projects and priorities
- Exceptional written and spoken communication skills – ability to interface with all levels of the organization including the ability to simplify difficult technical concepts.
- Ability to work under pressure and has a proven track record of delivering against tight deadlines
- Highly organized individual with excellent analytical skills and an ability to develop, implement and report on key metrics
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience in a utility company would be an advantage but not a requirement
