We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our expanding Outsourced Accounting team as Outsourced Financial Controller. We have a growing client portfolio and provide a holistic service to established and dynamic growing clients. Current client portfolio includes companies from the ICT/Pharmaceutical/Construction/Retail/Aviation and Service sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements for their clients. This is a hands-on position that requires someone who wants to get to grips with the finance processes quickly.
Main responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely management accounts, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Review and approval of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring reconciling differences are properly followed up and completed by the team
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including statutory reporting and tax requirements both in Ireland and Internationally.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Audit Management: Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Support regular ad hoc information requests from business owners and senior management and assist on other responsibilities and projects as required
Skills and attributes:
Education: ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial management role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
Leadership: Excellent leadership, interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to work with all levels in the organisation and to challenge stakeholders & performance.
Team Management: Ability to manage and prioritize team workload, handle conflicting deadlines, and balance multiple priorities effectively.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS office skills, notably excel.
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail & a desire to drive constant improvement and change.
