Role:
West Street are looking for experienced and friendly **mid-week** waiting staff for Front of House to join our team. Creating a fun and memorable experience for our customers and team is key at West Street and we're looking for someone who is friendly, positive and enjoys working in a busy, fast paced environment to join us! We are looking for candidates who are available for immediate start. Successful applicants must be willing to work weekends if needed. Minimum 20 hours with possibility of extra hours for suitable candidates.
Front of House Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and lead them to their seats.
- Introduce our menus with knowledge on how to describe different dishes.
- Take orders.
- Deliver orders to the table in a timely manner.
- Ensure customers are looked after through all stages of their visit - nurturing a good rapport with everyone that walks through the door.
- Keeping an eagle eye on small details (i.e. if someone has been waiting to order, noticing when tables are about to turn over during busy periods etc).
- Adhere to food, sanitary and safety standards.
- Identify and resolve any special requirements, wants and needs of customers.
- Collaborate closely with other staff members.
- Participate in end of shift clean down of café / bathrooms etc.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience as a wait staff or similar role preferred but not essential
- Customer oriented approach
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Be calm under pressure & be able to multitask
- Meet store operating policies and standards adhering to HACCP guidelines and store safety and security.
- Engage with and understand other team members through clear and pleasant communication
- Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift

Pay: From €13.50 per hour
