Experienced Café Waiter/Waitress
Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Waiter/Waitress with experience. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service in our retail shop and café, ensuring an enjoyable experience for our visitors. You will assist with a variety of tasks, including serving food and drinks, stocking shelves, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
**Key ResponseCustomer Service:
- Welcome customers with a friendly attitude and provide assistance as needed.
- Respond to customer queries about products, menu items, and services.
- Handle customer feedback or concerns professionally and escalate if necessary.
Shop Duties:
- Restock shelves, displays, and storage areas with products.
- Assist customers in locating products and provide information on items.
- Operate the till and handle cash, card, and other payment methods accurately.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing shop environment.
**Cafe Duties:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages, ensuring high quality and presentation.
- Take and process orders quickly and efficiently.
- Follow health and safety regulations for food handling and hygiene.
- Clear tables, wash dishes, and maintain cleanliness in the café area.
General Duties:
- Help with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and organizing the premises.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the manager of any shortages or issues.
- Assist with deliveries and unpacking stock as required.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to create a positive environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and stock checks.
- Experience in a retail or hospitality setting is required.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as needed.
- High level of English required
Working Hours:
This role may include part-time or full-time hours, with flexibility required to meet business needs.
