Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, professional, and service-oriented Food & Beverage Attendant to join our dynamic team at The Douglas Hyde Fine Dining Restaurant. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess exceptional attention to detail, and be committed to delivering a superior guest experience in a fine dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide an impeccable level of service from arrival to departure.
- Set up and maintain the dining area in line with fine dining standards.
- Present menus, explain dishes and make recommendations where appropriate.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Ensure all tables and service stations are kept clean, tidy, and well-stocked.
- Liaise closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service.
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients and allergens.
- Handle guest enquiries, requests, and feedback professionally and proactively.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Support team members and contribute to a positive working environment.
- Participate in staff training and ongoing development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of wines, spirits, and food pairing is a distinct advantage.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
