We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Part-Time Food & Beverage Assistant to join our Restaurant & Bar team at The Maritime Hotel in Bantry. In this role, you will be the face of our service, providing a warm welcome to guests and delivering an exceptional dining experience from start to finish.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with table setup and clearing throughout service
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately, including cocktails
- Ensure a consistent and high standard of service at all times
- Share knowledge of the local area and provide personal recommendations to guests
- Liaise with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
- Maintain a clean, well-organized and fully stocked restaurant and bar area
- Work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive environment
What We’re Looking For
- An outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
- A strong team player who takes pride in delivering great guest experiences
- Previous hospitality or customer-facing experience is essential
- Prior experience in food and beverage service is a plus
