We are looking for a Forklift Driver / General Operative to join a busy stairs and doors manufacturing workshop.
Responsibilities:
- Operating a counterbalance / reach / forklift truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving goods around the warehouse
- Stock checks and general warehouse duties
- Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid forklift licence
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good attention to detail and time management
- A strong work ethic and team player attitude
Role
- The role will involve loading and unloading of timber products and stock movement within the workshop and requires a candidate who is experienced on forklifts, especially Counterbalance
- Loading/unloading
- Put good aways
- General warehouse duties / customer service / organizing workshop
- Getting timber stairs parts ready ready for fitters
- Organizing and tidying of workshop
Requirements
- Valid forklift license
- Available Monday to Friday
- Previous warehouse/stock control experience
- Manual handling training
- Punctual
