Freshtoday are a dynamic, fast-paced company, servicing the whole of Ireland with Healthy School Lunches. Due to ongoing growth and expansion, we are currently recruiting for Overnight Van Delivery Drivers, with fantastic opportunities for successful candidates.
Freshtoday are looking to hire a Full-Time Multi Drop Van Delivery Driver to join our expanding team at our production facility in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. The role requires complete flexibility around working hours with possible shift start times ranging from 12:30am to 04:00am. Responsibilities include; loading and unloading vehicles for deliveries, collection of stock from suppliers, baler operation for waste and the cleaning and maintenance of company fleet vehicles.
PLEASE NOTE: Successful candidates must be flexible in their approach to shift patterns and be willing to work additional hours or rotate shift patterns as the business requires. Working days are Monday - Friday, subject to change dependant on business requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
· Leaving Certificate or equivalent education
· Must be aged 25 or older (for vehicle insurance purposes)
· 1+ years experience in a similar driving role
· Full Clean B driving licence – no penalty points or restrictions
The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate they are/have:
Essential Criteria:
- Quality Control – all school lunches are delivered with care whilst ensuring quality standards are met
- Following Procedures - adhering to standard operating procedures, safety guidelines and company policies.
- Communication Skills – communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors/management
- Safety Compliance – wearing PPE where required, following safety protocols and notifying management of any breach in safety procedures
- Attention to Detail – ability to perform quality checks and be proactive in resolving when errors are discovered
- Route Navigation – ability to navigate routes effectively using google maps/GPS to ensure timely deliveries
- Professional Demeanour – maintaining a professional and courteous attitude while representing the company
- Physical Fitness - this role requires physical work throughout your shift which includes lifting and storing of food boxes. Applicant must be physically fit, without neck, back or shoulder problems.
Desirable Criteria:
- Deli/canteen/food service delivery experience a distinct advantage
- Basic vehicle maintenance experience is highly desirable
- Manual Handling experience, not essential as full training will be provided
