.Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with a strong background in both front-end and back-end development. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can hit the ground running and integrate seamlessly with our team. This role involves working with various technologies and frameworks to build and optimise web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Front-End Development:
- Preferred: React JS
- Acceptable: View JS, Angular JS, or any similar JavaScript framework
- Develop and maintain user interfaces ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly web pages.
Back-End Development:
- Primary Language: Python
- Framework: Flask (ideal)
- Design and develop server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
Database Management:
- Primary: MySQL, Snowflake (ideal)
- Design, implement, and maintain database schemas.
- Ensure data integrity and optimise database performance.
Containerisation and Cloud Experience:
- Technologies: Kubernetes, Docker/Container Optimisation
- Cloud: Experience with Apple Internal Cloud or similar cloud platforms
- Deploy and manage applications in containerised environments.
- Optimise container performance and ensure scalability.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in front-end development using React JS or similar frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Flask framework.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly MySQL.
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Attributes:
Based in Cork or Ireland to facilitate occasional onsite integration with the team.
Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and quickly adapt to new environments and technologies.
