Shifts: 5am to 2pm, 5 days a week, Monday to Saturday,
Closed Sundays with a midweek day off.
Main Duties:
· Assist in busy prep kitchen for a food manufacturer of quiches, pies and ready meals.
· Assist in ensuring work area and kitchen is clean at all times.
. Follow work instructions and complete paperwork as you go
. Willing to follow strict work processes and carry out food prep activities with accuracy
· Required to work across all areas of the Factory
· Comply with Standard Operating Procedures, safety and quality systems and procedures in their area and across the site.
· Complete all training as necessary for your role within the company
. Support team members in other work areas of the factory if required.
.Complete the necessary paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
The Candidate:
- Previous experience in a Food Environment would be a distinct advantage.
- Good knife skills would be an advantage
- A willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to follow recipes and complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
- Ability to take instruction but also ability to work on own initiative.
- Flexible to the needs of the business.
- Excellent attention to detail
-Ability to work as part of a team.
- A good knowledge of the English language (written and spoken)
