Carambola are currently recruiting for General Operatives for our food manufacturing facility in Annacotty in Limerick.
Our Production line operates on a Sunday -Thursday basis. Working hours are from 2.30am - 12.30pm/ 6.30am - 4.30pm subject to the needs of the business.
Reports to: The Production Manager
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Production room preparation of foods.
- Stock handling.
- Rotation of stock, goods in/goods out, stock allocation.
- Feeding assembly lines with product.
- Sorting deliveries.
- Yard maintenance, industrial wash up.
- Transport of product between warehouses within the Business Park.
- Carrying out any other duties that may be required.
- This list is not exhaustive.
The role involves Manual Handling. On-site/online training will be provided.
Essential Criteria:
- Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated, with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Reliable and hard-working
- Team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience preferable, but training will be provided to suitable candidates.
Working hours are based on the school calendar year, so there is a good work life balance. General Operatives are off work the same time as the schools, i.e., Halloween Break, Christmas Break, Mid Term Break, Easter Break and the Summer Break.
