Key Outcomes
- Project Management:
Directly responsible for managing and delivering the flagship EU strategic project with responsibility for:
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Responsible for coordinating and motivating a large-scale, cross-functional project team including but not limited to Operations, Quality, IT and Finance. Ensuring effective communication throughout and timely delivery of project workstream objectives.
- Stakeholder Communication : Organise and lead regular stakeholder updates on the status of the project, progress to milestones and identified risks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Build strong relationships with key project stakeholders across the business to ensure seamless communication throughout the lifetime of the project.
- Decision Making: Strong ability to recognise potential project risks, apply effective problem-solving methods and decide on the most effective course of action to drive the project forward .
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Develop and manage a comprehensive reporting suite to track key PM metrics, including cost, quality, and efficiency. Regularly assess the effectiveness of operations and adjust as necessary to meet project goals.
- Cut-Over Planning : Work with the key project stakeholders to draft a clear and detailed cut-over plan that outlines the smooth transition of the current operational facilities into the new facility, with minimal disruptions to the operations and zero customer impact.
- Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to define and execute the company’s strategic initiatives and business objectives.
- Develop, implement, and oversee business strategies that enhance operational & supply chain efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
- Operational Excellence:
- Identify opportunities for operational & supply chain improvements and cost reductions, implementing best practices to drive efficiency across all departments.
- Design, implement, and refine business processes and systems that support seamless operations across various functions.
- Use data-driven insights and KPIs to continuously monitor operational performance, ensuring that goals are met on time and within budget.
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Partner with department heads to ensure the alignment of resources, capabilities, and performance targets with strategic goals.
- Provide clear direction, feedback, and support to ensure the team delivers on strategic objectives effectively.
- Change Management:
- Champion change initiatives to ensure smooth transitions when implementing new processes, technologies, or organizational changes.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure buy-in and effective communication during periods of change.
- Risk Management & Compliance:
- Identify potential operational risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, organizational policies, and best practices in all operational processes.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for the executive team, highlighting key performance metrics, progress on strategic initiatives, and recommendations for improvements.
- Analyze operational & supply chain data to derive insights, forecast trends, and inform strategic decision-making.
- Project Planning & Execution: Lead and manage multiple strategic projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
