Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm Mon To Friday however some flexibility may be required from time to time.

Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Duty Supervisor to oversee the daily dispatch operations at Donnybrook Fair. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient delivery of goods from our facility to customers and stores, while maintaining our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate the daily dispatch of orders, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and timely delivery to customers and store locations.
Team Supervision:
Manage and support the dispatch team, including drivers and warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to company standards and procedures.
Logistics Coordination:
Work with internal departments (e.g., retail, warehouse, and procurement) to ensure seamless communication and efficient logistics.
Quality Control:
Conduct spot checks and quality assurance reviews to ensure orders meet Donnybrook Fair’s high standards before dispatch.
Problem Resolution:
Act as the first point of contact for any dispatch-related issues, including delays, inventory discrepancies, or customer complaints, and resolve promptly.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Ensure all dispatch operations adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Reporting:
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as dispatch accuracy, delivery times, and staff performance.
Training & Development:
Train new staff and provide ongoing support and development for the dispatch team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a dispatch, warehouse, or logistics environment (food industry preferred)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- General Computing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in inventory and dispatch management systems
- experience with ERP/WMS a plus
