The Head of Commercial Effectiveness (CE) is responsible for leading the CE team, ensuring the efficient and compliant execution of commercial effectiveness activities with a focus on driving business performance and growth by leveraging data-driven insights and innovative strategies to enhance market competitiveness and achieve organisational goals. This role involves strategic leadership, team management, and collaboration with local, regional, and global teams to drive success and alignment with GSK priorities.

In this role you will
- Challenge the business’ use of resources to further leveraging and drive performance.
- Collaborate with the Lead Team to define commercial strategies grounded in data-driven insights, offering comprehensive analysis on resource allocation, competitor dynamics, market data, risks, and opportunities to support informed decision-making.
- Develop and coordinate an appropriate capability plan for commercial to enhance understanding of market dynamics, insights generation, launch readiness, etc. to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure rigorous tracking and monitoring of sales performance, benchmarking against external market standards. Introduce and integrate external best-in-class practices in business analytics to empower leaders to adopt and leverage these methodologies effectively.
- Ensure appropriate key performance indicators (KPIs) and data for priority brands are in place and provide insights to senior management.
- Ensure consistent approach for launch readiness across all Therapy Areas to deliver best in class launches.
- Be accountable for local performance meetings, country performance reviews, Market Visit coordination and brand planning cycle.
- Develop and drive the strategic direction of the CE team by partnering with local business units to understand and address their needs and challenges, while collaborating with global and regional teams to ensure alignment with GSK priorities where appropriate
- Accountability for effective and compliance deployment of the Salesforce Incentive Scheme.
- Act as the Performance Lead for Ireland within the regional team, serving as the point of contact for Area for market requests.
- Lead high-complexity projects within the Commercial Effectiveness space and across the Enterprise as required based on business needs.

- Proven ability to define and implement commercial strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Experience overseeing operational activities to ensure efficiency and compliance within a commercial effectiveness or similar department.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver high-complexity projects.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in leading and managing a diverse team.
