Purpose of the Role

The Head of DFM IT / Product Integrations is responsible for maintaining and supporting the existing technology stack at DFM Systems during the transition period, while leading the integration of DFM customers and systems into the Zutec platform, as well as looking ahead to future integrations.
This role ensures system continuity and reliability for current DFM customers and staff, while managing and executing a phased migration strategy to group-wide solutions. As Zutec continues its M&A strategy, this role will also support future acquisitions by acting as the integration and migration lead, helping build repeatable practices and frameworks for post-acquisition delivery, as well as planning and executing on agreed 3rd party executions.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • DFM Technology Stewardship: Maintain and support the current DFM IT infrastructure and platforms to ensure stable and uninterrupted service during the transition period.
  • Integration Leadership: Own the technical and operational delivery of migrating DFM customers and processes onto Zutec platforms, in close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams.
  • Customer Migration Planning: Define clear migration roadmaps for customers and internal operations, ensuring minimal disruption, data integrity, and continuity of service.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Liaise with Product, Support, and Commercial teams to align integration plans with business goals and customer commitments.
  • Standardisation & Transition: Ensure that the DFM systems remain compliant with Zutec group IT and security standards throughout the transition.
  • Future M&A Integrations: Support post-acquisition integrations for future group acquisitions, applying lessons learned from the DFM integration and helping develop scalable playbooks.
  • People Management: Lead the DFM technical team during the transition, ensuring clear priorities, effective and efficient delivery, and a smooth transfer of knowledge.
  • Governance & Reporting: Track and report progress on all integration initiatives, escalating risks and dependencies, and delivering updates to senior stakeholders.

Key Competencies

  • Demonstrated experience in IT systems management, product migration, or technical project delivery
  • Strong understanding of SaaS architecture, cloud infrastructure, and legacy system dependencies
  • Experience leading cross-functional technical projects, ideally in a multi-entity or post-acquisition setting
  • Skilled in stakeholder communication and planning within transitional environments
  • Customer-first mindset with attention to quality and reliability during system migrations
  • Strong organisational skills, able to juggle stability and change concurrently
  • Familiarity with construction tech or property management platforms is beneficial but not required.
