Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible
MedGen Healthcare Ireland is currently hiring experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistants for roles across County West Meath , Meath and surrounding counties. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist nursing staff with the delivery of resident care
- Support residents with personal hygiene, mobility, and daily activities
- Promote independence, dignity, and respect at all times
- Participate in social and recreational activities with residents
- Maintain cleanliness and safety within the care home environment
- Follow Health and Safety protocols
- Perform additional tasks as directed by nursing or management staff
Requirements:
- QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support (or equivalent) – completed or in progress.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or care home setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid permission to work in the Republic of Ireland.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
