Cabins and Containers is a Meath based Company, located on the outskirts between Kells / Navan Co. Meath. We provide transportable site offices, canteens, toilet blocks, drying rooms and shipping containers throughout the Isle of Ireland.
HGV Hiab Truck Driver wanted for busy cabin company. Transporting Cabins and containers to various locations. There is an additional incentive bonus which is additional to salary - based on % of deliveries per day, reviewed and paid weekly.
Duties include
- Experience in using Artic and rigid trucks .
- Must have Hiab Crane / Chain lifting experience
- Loading and Offloading of Cabins and Containers
- Securing loads to applicable safety and company standards and properly arranging and balancing same on the vehicle.
- Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving.
- Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules.
- Complying with truck driving rules and regulations
- Reporting defects, accidents and violations
- Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning)
- Performing pre and post trip vehicle inspection reports
- Communicating and coordinating with office regarding daily delivery schedules
Requirements:
- Experience is essential in a transport setting preferably construction based
- Clean C License
- CPC Modules complete
- Digi Tacho Card
- Good written and spoken English
- Safe Pass
- Hiab experience essential
Experience;
- Minimum of 5 years experience HGV
- Valid EU / UK Heavy Goods Vehicle drivers license
- "Clean" drivers record
- Experience in use of a Hiab
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €55,000.00 per year
