Breffni Couriers Ltd. are a family operated courier business in the North East. We are currently recruiting for HGV driver.
If you are an experienced C License driver, have a strong work ethic, and a good manner with customers and consignees we are interested in hearing from you.
The Role
- Monday to Friday (8am to 5:00pm)
- MULTI DROP Collections and Deliveries
- Delivering Palletised Goods and some carton deliveries
- Local knowledge of Louth Meath, Monaghan and Cavan
Requirements
- Loading and unloading a 12-18 Tonne Curtain-side Rigid
- Unloading the vehicle with Pallet Truck where required
- Maintain ongoing communication with Transport Office and Customer Service team
Skills
- Flexible to work overtime when required
- Excellent organization skills essential
- Ability to work under pressure
- Reliability
- Ability to work on own initiative
- C and or C1 license with CPC card and qualifications preferred
- Must have experience 3-5 years minimum driving trucks
- Valid Manual Handling cert
- Must have experience in Multi-Drop delivery
- Fluent in English
