We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional Day Porter to join our experienced and dedicated team. If you are passionate about hospitality and want to grow your career within a busy and vibrant hotel environment, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to all guests and visitors entering the hotel.
- Perform all porterage duties to a high standard, including assisting guests with luggage and escorting them to their rooms in a courteous and informative manner.
- Ensure guest security, with a strong focus on the handling of room keys and baggage.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to guest enquiries in a prompt and helpful manner.
- Deliver messages, post, faxes, and other communications to guests quickly and efficiently.
- Act as an information source for guests, responding to any queries or special requests.
- Clearly communicate all hotel services, facilities, and those available within the Cusack Group.
- Manage the collection, delivery, and storage of guest luggage and dry-cleaning services.
- Assist and direct all individuals entering the hotel, including conference attendees, meeting guests, contractors, and delivery personnel.
Candidate Requirements:
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A helpful, proactive, and professional approach.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
