Radisson Blu Hotel Letterkenny is currently welcoming applications from candidates for the role of Hotel Duty Manager.
The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and enjoy dealing with people and working in a busy hotel environment covering Front Office, Rooms, Meetings and Conferences, Restaurant and Bar.
The Hotel Duty Manager will ensure the smooth day to day operation of the Hotel while on duty and ensure that a consistently high standard and quality of service is provided to guests at all times.
Main Duties
- Taking responsibility for overseeing Front Office operations and working closely with the Front Office Supervisor
- Possess strong operational knowledge with the ability to work across departments as needed.
- Oversee hotel operations, greet guests, and inspire the team to deliver exceptional hospitality.
- Working closely with the hotel’s management team, ensure the day-to-day operations are carried out in line with all departments and hotel standards
- Management of all aspects of the hotel while on duty.
- Having a hands-on approach while on duty in areas where support is needed. Lead and guide the team as required.
- Working closely with the teams within the Food & Beverage departments of the hotel
- Coach and train employees to ensure everyone feels confident in their roles
- Perform monthly beverage stocktakes
- Demonstrate excellent problem solving skills and the ability to handle conflicts or complaints smoothly
Requirements:
- 3-4 years experience in a similar role within busy 4 star hotels.
- Previous Experience working in the areas of Front Office and working with a Front Office PMS System
- Excellent knowledge of Food & Beverage Operations
- Excellent communication & leadership skills and a passion for customer service.
- Strong communicator with excellent organisation skills and interpersonal skills.
- Must be flexible and committed to succeed in a fast-paced diverse workplace.
- The ability to lead and to be able to multi task in a fast paced environment
- To deal with guest queries in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team
- Unrestricted permission to work in Ireland on a full time basis.
- Available to work a variety of shifts included late night, early mornings, Weekend shifts including Bank/Public Holidays.
Qualifications:
- Hotel Management Qualification preferable.
