Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience. This role offers a full-time opportunity for candidates with a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Reception: Greet guests with a warm and professional demeanour, managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
- Customer Service: Address guest inquiries, provide information about hotel amenities and services, and assist with special requests to ensure a pleasant stay.
- Reservations Management: Process reservations, confirm bookings, and update room status to maximize occupancy.
- Communication: Coordinate with other departments to fulfil guest requests and ensure smooth operation, from housekeeping to food and beverage services.
- Billing and Payments: Handle payments, prepare invoices, and manage billing queries in compliance with hotel policies.
- Administrative Support: Complete daily reports, manage guest records, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
- Problem Resolution: Respond to guest feedback and concerns in a professional, courteous manner, providing timely solutions and escalating issues when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Prior experience in a customer service role, ideally within hospitality, is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided for enthusiastic candidates.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to connect with guests and team members. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with hotel reservation systems (training provided if necessary).
- Language: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional languages are an asset but not required.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the demands of a 24/7 operation.
- Professional Appearance: Adherence to hotel grooming standards to maintain a professional, polished appearance.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and stay calm under pressure while delivering exceptional guest service.

Shift Work:
- 3 pm - 11 pm
- 7 am - 3 pm
