Job Summary
Donegal Manor our 15-bed guesthouse in Donegal Town is on the lookout for an energetic Housekeeper to keep bedrooms, bathrooms and shared spaces looking their best through our busy summer stretch. You’ll be part of a small, friendly team that prides itself on spotless rooms, thoughtful touches and a warm Irish welcome for families, golfers and Wild Atlantic Way wanderers alike.
Start date and job type
- Immediate start (position runs until 31 August, with possible extension)
- Part-time: 20–30 hrs per week, mainly morning/early-afternoon shifts
- Must be available weekends (additional weekdays scheduled as required)
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Rooms: Clean, make beds, change linens and restock amenities for 15 rooms.
- Public Areas: Keep reception, lounges, hallways and breakfast room spotless and inviting.
- Turnarounds: Work with the team to achieve swift same-day changeovers for check-ins.
- Laundry: Sort, wash, dry and press linens and towels; monitor stock levels.
- Reporting: Flag maintenance issues and low supplies so we stay ahead of guest needs.
- Health & Safety: Follow our hygiene checklists to the letter.

Requirements
- Essential: Reliability, eye for detail and pride in presenting immaculate rooms.
- Ability to lift, bend and be on your feet for several hours.
- Good time-management.
- Basic spoken English for guest interaction and team communication.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a bonus, but we’ll happily train the right person.
