BrookLodge & Macreddin Village is a unique destination nestled in the Wicklow countryside, renowned for its dedication to sustainability, exceptional service, and warm Irish hospitality. We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet required standards.
- Assist in training, mentoring, and supporting team members to maintain a motivated and productive working environment.
- Ensure efficient stock control and distribution of linen, amenities, and housekeeping supplies.
- Liaise with other departments, including Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Step in to support hands-on housekeeping tasks as needed, demonstrating leadership and teamwork.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory or team leader role, ideally within a hospitality environment.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A keen eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- The ability to lead and motivate a team, while also working independently when required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
