Ballymaloe Foods is recruiting for a proactive HR Admin to join our team and support the smooth running of HR operations in a dynamic, people-focused environment.

About the Role:
As HR Admin you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR activities across the employee lifecycle – from onboarding and compliance to payroll support and employee queries. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your HR career and gain experience in a fast-paced, supportive team. Reporting to the General Manager and receiving technical support from our HR specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for queries, related to HR policies, procedures and benefits, and escalating issues as needed.
- Manage HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, development and off-boarding.
- Support the implementation of a new HR system and automating HR processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity.
- Working with Managers to coordinate training schedules.
- Assist managers with performance tracking, ensuring 6- and 12-month reviews completed.
- Align with payroll administrator to ensure accurate recording of hours and smooth payroll.
- Drive company morale, ensuring internal company communications and employee activities are of a high standard.
- Ownership of HR projects and initiatives that drive employee engagement.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- 2 years’ experience in a HR support or administrative role
- Knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems
