What is the role about?
This role will support the HR team in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of HR-related activities across the Campus. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage high volumes of sensitive data, and a strong understanding of both HR and health and safety administrative processes. This position offers the opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way to the continued success of our growing and diverse Campus.
Which tasks will you perform?
- Help to foster and maintain an environment of trust and positivity by engaging proactively with colleagues across the Campus
- Carry out all activities aligned to our values of Sustainability, Commitment, Excellence and Friendliness
- Work in cross functional teams to deliver projects and initiatives across the Campus
- Carry out all administrative tasks accurately and efficiently ensuring consistency across the Campus
- Any other duties commensurate with your skills and experience and as directed by your manager in the development of the role and the HR function overall
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records utilizing the functionality of People Solution
- Support the recruitment and onboarding process and activities for new colleagues
- Assist with policy awareness and implementation
- Prepare documentation such as contracts, letters, reports, presentations
- Support implementation and coordination of training and development activities
- Support communications and engagement activities across the Campus
Health & Safety Administration
- Maintain health & safety records and administration requirements to ensure compliance under health and safety legislation and requirements for our business operations
- Own the CMS Portal activity and ensure customer compliance requirements are met and the system is maintained with accurate and timely information
- Support the implementation of H&S policies and procedures across the organization including coordinating activities with the health and safety committee
What do we expect from you?
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role with exposure to HR and Health & Safety processes
- A relevant qualification in HR or Health & Safety
- Demonstrated ability to handle high volumes of sensitive and confidential data with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/H&S systems, demonstrating strong digital literacy andcomfortable using technology and collaboration platforms, i.e., Sharepoint.
- Customer centric with a can-do attitude
- Experience working to deadlines and managing multiple tasks effectively
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
