In this vital role, you will provide HR guidance and support to business managers across various areas, ensuring compliance with policies, employment legislation, and company initiatives. You’ll play a key role in fostering positive employee relations, managing performance, and leading talent management processes to drive engagement and business success.

The Role: As an HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to business managers, providing consistent and proactive HR support across all areas. From employee relations and performance management to HR systems and reporting, this role ensures the smooth operation of HR processes while promoting best practices and a positive company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations:

  • Actively manage employee relations matters in collaboration with department managers.
  • Provide HR guidance to business managers on policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Support and advise managers on handling performance-related matters to ensure adherence to HR policies and best practices.

Talent Management & Development:

  • Identify, develop, and retain top talent through structured programmes and initiatives.
  • Assist in the onboarding of high-calibre candidates, ensuring a seamless transition into the business.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of employee performance appraisal systems across all departments.

HR Systems & Reporting:

  • Maintain HR-related IT systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Produce and report on key HR statistics via a monthly HR Scorecard for executive and senior management.
  • Generate payroll data for joiners, leavers, and changes in line with payroll schedules.

Reward & Recognition:

  • Maintain and enhance reward and recognition programmes, including employee benefits schemes.
  • Develop and administer staff retention strategies to drive engagement and employee satisfaction.

HR Policy & Compliance:

  • Ensure HR policies align with the company’s mission, values, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in policy development and documentation to maintain compliance with employment law.
  • Support employee safety, welfare, and wellness initiatives, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Workforce Planning & Strategy:

  • Liaise with the operational planning department to manage headcount forecasting and workforce planning.
  • Aid in the development and execution of internal communication strategies to align HR practices with business objectives.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent end-to-end HR services across all areas and act as a point of escalation for the team.
  • Ensure HR policies reflect company values and are compliant with national and local regulations.
  • Assist in developing and implementing internal communication strategies and plans.
  • Facilitate employee orientation, training, and ongoing development programmes.
  • Coordinate employee safety, welfare, and workplace wellness initiatives.
  • Administer compensation and benefits packages to support employee well-being.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure HR alignment with business goals.
  • Undertake other HR-related duties as assigned to support the business needs and HR function.

Requirements

Essential Criteria:

  • HR Degree, BA Hons.
  • CIPD Qualified / Part-Qualified in progress.
  • HR best practice and experience with employee relations.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience adapting to change within an organisation.

Contract and Hours:

This role is based in our Head Quarters in Dublin Airport. You will work from 09:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday, contributing to a collaborative and dynamic team environment. While the primary focus of your responsibilities will be within the office, there may be occasional travel requirements for our team in Shannon and London to support various projects and initiatives.
