HR SPECIALIST - FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Responsibilities

  • This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate with some administrative experience or an early-career HR professional looking to build their experience across multiple HR functions.
  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee and manager queries
  • Administer the Time and Attendance System (TMS), including training, troubleshooting, and ensuring accurate payroll integration
  • Maintain employee leave records and provide reports to support internal and external reporting requirements
  • Generate reports to support financial reporting and internal KPIs
  • Coordinate the company’s performance review process
  • Liaise with occupational health providers and manage administration for pre-employment medicals and referrals
  • Maintain employee files and ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and company policies
  • Develop and maintain training matrices and records; support scheduling and delivery of internal/external training
  • Assist with organising internal company events, service awards, and general HR administrative tasks
  • Support recruitment activities, including interviewing and sourcing

Qualifications

  • We’re looking for someone with strong organisational skills and an interest in developing their HR career. Ideal candidates will have:
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Previous experience in HR or administrative support (e.g., internships, office admin, recruitment support)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and comfortable using online systems
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and handle sensitive information confidentially
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach and willingness to learn
